Position Title: Court Program Specialist I (Three Positions)

Job Location: Eleventh Judicial Circuit Court, Miami, Florida

Salary Range: $2,670.17 - $4,944.17 (Monthly*)

*The successful candidate will be hired at the minimum salary.


The essential function of the position within the organization is to assist in the administration of a Unified Family Court case management system including crossover cases, such as domestic violence and dependency cases. The position is responsible for maintaining databases, serving the court by collecting and reporting on case/program data, facilitating child support enforcement and domestic violence referrals, interacting with other Courts System personnel and the community to facilitate case management, and performing related clerical functions. The position works under general supervision according to some procedures.


Education and Training Guidelines:

Additional relevant experience may substitute for the recommended educational level on a year-for-year basis and additional relevant education may substitute for the recommended experience on a year-for-year basis.

Bachelor’s degree in public or business administration, criminal justice, psychology, sociology, pre-law or a closely social science related field and two years of related experience. Master’s degree may substitute for the experience.

Special Comments:

Position 10275 - This is complex case management work with administrative duties primarily pertaining to locating appropriate agencies and professionals for parties pursuant to specific judicial instructions regarding the facilitation and monitoring of referrals.

Position 11724 - This is responsible court case coordination work with an emphasis on tracking compliance with Adoptions and Safe Families Act (ASFA) and Florida statutes affecting dependency division cases. The position is responsible for maintaining databases, serving the court by collecting and reporting on case/program data, facilitating child support orders, domestic violence injunctions, interacting with other Courts System personnel and the community to facilitate case management. The primary focus of this role is to assist the court in providing accountability for the implementation of all relevant court orders and service plans consistent with the child’s well being and permanency outcomes.

Position 11725 - This is responsible case management work in the Probate Court Case Management Unit of the Eleventh Judicial Circuit. The Probate Court Case Manager is responsible for maintaining and tracking compliance with Florida Statutes, Rules of Procedure and local rule requirements governing the probate estate and guardianship cases. Work involves tracking and monitoring the judge’s caseload and guiding cases through the appropriate court processes.
