Elements of a Court System

Florida’s court system effectively and efficiently manages the court’s workload utilizing a interdependent combination of judicial officers and other resources which are classified into four distinct categories:  adjudication, due process, governance, and infrastructure.  A delineation of the resources (i.e., elements) by jurisdiction is provided in the following table.  A detailed description of each element may be accessed by clicking on the element type below.
