isa Goodner has worked in state government for more than 20 years. She began
her career in the courts system in 1990, as the Chief of Personnel Services in
the Office of the State Courts Administrator. She served as a Deputy State
Courts Administrator from 1993 until July 1, 2003, when she was promoted to her
current position of State Courts Administrator. Ms. Goodner is responsible for
overseeing the broad range of administrative, intergovernmental, and operational
functions performed by the Office of the State Courts Administrator on behalf of
Florida's appellate and trial courts.
She received her B.A. and the Certified Public Manager designation from Florida State University. In June 2003, Ms. Goodner was presented with the inaugural Kenneth R. Palmer Award of Distinguished Excellence in Judicial Administration from the Florida Conference of Circuit Judges.
