Brevard County celebrated Mediation Week with the community. Mediators addressed 400 elementary and high school students. Activities included a role play mediation of the “Three Little Pigs”. Creative art work designs were on display in the main lobby of the Courthouse for Mediation Week. The display included Pinwheels for Peace which were made for World Peace Day. The Pinwheels had each student’s written idea of the meaning of peace on one side and an illustration of the same on the other side of a pinwheel. Also on display were four pieces of artwork done by Albanian students that depict some facet of everyday life in Albania, to promote greater understanding between students of different counties and to emphasize the commonalities of mankind.
