The Justice Teaching Institute (JTI) is a law-related education program sponsored annually by the Florida Supreme Court for secondary public and private school teachers. The Florida Bar and the Florida Law Related Education Association (FLREA), Inc. also provide support. Participants enjoy a wide range of sessions with Supreme Court justices and other judges, simulations, and group discussions; and network with educators from around the state. Any secondary level teacher in Florida may apply. Twenty-five secondary level public and private school teachers, chosen from numerous applicants by a selection committee, participate each year.

The 2010 JTI will be held April 18-22. Those who want to consider the 2010 event need to download and submit a JTI application. The application deadline is February 19, 2010

For more information about Justice Teaching Institute, go to the Florida Supreme Court JTI Web Page.
