CURRENTLY OVER HALF OF OUR COURTS’ BUDGET COMES FROM COUNTY FUNDS; HOWEVER, REVISION 7 CALLS FOR A LARGER PORTION OF THE COURTS’ FUNDING TO COME FROM STATE COFFERS.
THIS CHANGE POSES A SIGNIFICANT FISCAL CHALLENGE FOR THE STATE AND THE LEGISLATURE.
