$45,817.20 - 59,607*
Law clerk position available for bright lawyer with exceptional legal research and writing skills and the ability to understand and apply legal principles, statutory and case law, court rules, and rules of procedure. The position also requires the ability to identify legal issues, communicate effectively both orally and in writing, and work well with others. It is further required that the lawyer filling this position, understands the need to exercise discretion, confidentiality, impartiality, and honesty in handling all matters before the Court.
Education and Training Guidelines
Graduation from an accredited law school and Florida Bar membership (or intent to take the Florida Bar) are also required, as well as superior academic credentials.
*Salary range is contingent on the applicant’s qualifications, membership in the Florida Bar, and years of experience. Position will be offered by and subject to approval of the Chief Judge.
The position is for a two-year term.
