Job Description

Law clerk position available for bright, creative individual. Exceptional legal research and writing skills are required. Equally important are knowledge of legal principles, statutory and case law, court rules and procedures, electronic research capability, and the ability to identify legal issues and communicate orally and in writing.

Education and Training Guidelines

Graduation from an accredited law school and Florida Bar membership (or intent to take the Florida Bar) are also required, as well as superior academic credentials.

Special Comments

The position is for a one-year term. The law clerk will work for the Court rather than for a specific judge.

Salary range is contingent on the applicant’s qualifications and years of experience. 

Position will be offered by and subject to approval of the Chief Judge.
