The Florida Courts Technology Commission (FCTC) was formed pursuant to Fla. R. Jud. Admin. 2.236PDF Download to oversee, manage, and direct the development and use of technology within the judicial branch.

The Appellate Court Technology Committee (ACTC) was established to provide technical guidance and consultation to the FCTC and the Office of the State Courts Administrator (OSCA) regarding information systems development and operational policies and procedures relating to automation in Florida's district courts of appeal.

The Committee on Access to Court records was established to develop comprehensive policies to guide electronic access to court records.

The Electronic Filing Committee (EFC) was established to assist the Supreme Court and the OSCA by evaluating proposed plans submitted by clerks of courts, pursuant to Fla. R. Jud. Admin. 2.525 to implement electronic filing of documents.

The Trial Court Technology Committee was established to assist and oversee trial court applications currently being developed within the trial courts to ensure that the courts’ needs are met.
